WHAT WE DO

We hold events focused on enhancing the physical and emotional wellness of our students. These events include free workout classes for students, goodies during stressful parts of the semester, and other tabling events and speakers during the semester. We love partnering with local businesses who want to help make our students days a little brighter! This semester, we want to host fun and relaxing events and do as much as we can to prioritize the health of our student body.

WhAT ARe WE up to?

Engaging in the uplifting art of self-expression, our DIY Affirmation Bracelets Workshop was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved. Participants crafted personalized bracelets infused with positive affirmations, turning each creation into a wearable reminder of self-love and empowerment. The event fostered creativity, mindfulness, and a sense of connection as attendees shared their affirmations and stories. It wasn't just about making bracelets; it was about cultivating a positive mindset and embracing the beauty of self-affirmation. Participants left with a tangible token of positivity, carrying the inspiration with them long after the event concluded.

 

Our Stretching Lunch and Learn with Campus Recreation was a delightful midday escape learning to stretch in our Dental School Setting. Attendees gathered to rejuvenate their minds and bodies through guided stretching sessions. Led by experienced instructors from Campus Recreation, the event provided valuable insights into the importance of incorporating regular stretching into daily routines. The atmosphere was one of relaxation and camaraderie as participants learned effective stretches to enhance flexibility and reduce stress. It wasn't just a break from the daily grind; it was a holistic approach to self-care that left everyone feeling refreshed, reenergized, and ready to tackle the rest of the day with a renewed sense of well-being

 

In our Flower Pot Painting Workshop, creativity blossomed alongside a sense of tranquility and mindfulness. Attendees immersed themselves in the therapeutic art of painting flower pots, transforming simple clay into vibrant works of personalized art. The event served as a peaceful escape, allowing participants to express themselves through colors and designs. The connection between creativity and well-being was evident as everyone embraced the meditative process of painting. The Flower Pot Painting Workshop was more than an art session; it was a celebration of creativity, mindfulness, and the joy of cultivating one's inner garden

 

In October we hosted an Orange Theory class with AAPHD.  We were thrilled by the overwhelming response in October when we hosted the invigorating Orange Theory class in collaboration with AAPHD. We all got a really great workout in! Participants embraced the high-energy workout with enthusiasm, pushing their limits and fostering a sense of community. Attendees left with smiles on their faces, energized spirits, and a renewed commitment to their well-being.

 

In November we hosted an event with Quantum Soul, another great opportunity for attendees to learn about different ways to practice wellness.

 

November brought us the wonderful opportunity to delve into the realm of holistic wellness with our event featuring Quantum Soul. Attendees were immersed in a variety of practices aimed at nurturing the mind, body, and soul. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, and participants left with a newfound appreciation for diverse wellness practices. Quantum Soul provided valuable insights, empowering everyone to incorporate energies & spirituality into their lives. The event not only broadened horizons but also created a supportive community committed to personal well-being and growth.m
